I think this is a rather pretty photo, but I'm not sure what it is... LOL! It looks like some sort of plants (cacti? grass?) in a basket (laundry basket?). I'm not sure where Don made this shot, when Don made this shot, or why Don made this shot. If anyone knows, please fill me in, okay?!?!?

Transfusion

After undergoing chemotherapy for cancer back in the 1980s and again in the early 2000s, Don had trouble with his hemoglobin. He went to the oncologist's office every few weeks for an injection of Procrit® or Aranesp® to help his body boost hemoglobin production. Usually, that was sufficient. One time, however, his hemoglobin fell so low that he had to spend the night in the hospital, receiving a blood transfusion. This was his remembrance of it, 11-02-09.

Bus Pit

Don checked out several local bands while he was in Savannah. One of them performed at a venue called the "Bus Pit." He said the band might have been okay, but it was hard to be sure because the acoustics in the place were horrid. He didn't stay long before he left for something better. Fortunately, all of his other experiences in Savannah were better than this one!
