In downtown Bristol, there is a little shop that Don and I visited a couple of times. Don liked the store's selection of vinyl records. I liked the small selection of unique consignment clothing. Both of us enjoyed the selection of used books they carry. It was win-win-win! LOL One of the books I bought there was a delightful book titled Daughters of the Goddess: The Women Saints of India by Linda Johnsen. I enjoyed this book immensely and could hardly put it down once I started reading! I liked the book partly because it centered on women, and partly because it was about Hindu spirituality. Highly recommended! Today's photo is Sri Ma van Kamakhya, snapped from the cover of the book with my old LG225 flip phone, several years ago. And if anyone wants to visit the shop in Bristol, I have forgotten its name, BUT it is located across the street from the historic Paramount Theater, and down a couple of doors (near where Atlantis was once located). |
